Panasonic KX-TD308 and KX-TD1232 Phone Systems, and Components.

The Panasonic Control Unit or "KSU" (Key Service Unit) is the processor of the phone system itself. It houses the system programming, which is backed up by a lithium ion battery, and provides switching for telephone lines, extensions, intercom and all other system functions. Phone lines or "CO lines" (Central Office Lines) are connected via modular connections from the phone company. The phone extensions or telephone sets are output from the KSU to each individual extension location. Output connections for the extensions are also modular on the KX-TD308. The KX-TD1232 uses an "amphenol" type connector which is normally terminated onto a patch panel, Harmonica adaptor or 66M150 Punch Down Block.

Panasonic KX-TD1232 Control Unit :  with caller ID. Initially supports 8 lines and up to 16 digital and 16 single line telephone extensions. Expandable up to 24 lines and 64 digital and 64 single line telephones. Extra Device Port on the back of each digital telephone allows simultaneous connection of single line devices such as telephones and fax machines.
